Observing the Sabbath According to Solar Time
Yahweh's Royal Priesthood Publishing Company is One with Yahweh in observing the Sabbath . According to true solar time, this day is honored on the 7th day from sundown to sundown, (Genesis 2:2-3). Since the year begins on a different "named day of the week every year, the seventh day falls on a different "named day of the week" each year. This year our 7th day begins sundown Thursday evening and ends sundown Friday evening. Our day always begins at sundown, (Genesis 1:5). Order the 6027 Solar Calendar. When is the Sabbath?
Keep in mind that it is the 7th day that is holy, not any particular named day of the week. However, many people need to know what day of the week our Sabbath falls on for the current solar year. Annually, our 7th day will appear to rotate to the next day of the week when compared to the days of the week on the Gregorian calendar. This current solar year (6027), our 7th day begins on Thursday at sundown and ends on Friday at sundown. Our new year begins on Abib 1 on our Solar Calendar and on the Gregorian Calendar March 8, 2024 at sundown.
